Communion at SPPC is served the first Sunday of each month. Both wine and grape juice are served. To accommodate those with gluten sensitivities, we also provide a gluten free option.
We also serve Communion by Intinction during other special services throughout the year. Intinction is the practice where the communicant, not the minister, dips the host in the chalice. For services where Communion by Intinction is served, the chalice is filled with grape juice, so both children and adults can partake of the sacraments.
